Microneedling (Dermapen)

A medical device, this is used to break down old scar tissue and stimulate skin cells for proliferation, resulting in the creation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibres, as well as improved blood supply.

The device glides gently along the skin, penetrating the layers of the skin closest to the surface, to create numerous tiny needle wounds. The therapy encourages the body to respond through creation of new collagen and elastin fibres. As the skin responds, it plumps and thickens, reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles and fine lines.

  • Improves the appearance of stretch marks
  • Reduces pore size
  • Improves the quality and texture of the skin
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improves the look of disfiguring scars from surgery, accidents or acne.
